Salted Maple Matcha Latte

This salted maple matcha latte combines real maple syrup and flaky sea salt for a perfectly balanced sweet/salty drink. It's easy to make and can be enjoyed either hot or iced.

Ingredients

  • 1 c unsweetened milk of choice
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup
  • Several generous pinches flaky sea salt
  • ½ tsp matcha

Instructions

  1. Stir together the milk, maple syrup, and sea salt. Adjust the sweetness to your own tastes.
  2. For a hot latte, heat the salted maple milk in a serving mug. For an iced latte, pour the salted maple milk over ice.
  3. Make the matcha shot by whisking the matcha with a splash of water.
  4. Pour the matcha shot on top of the milk.
